COMPUTER PALACE is an unique approach to the early learning of computers by bringing computer education directly into Learning Connection. Trained teachers combine fun with solid educational experiences. Colorful graphics, animation, and music keep young learners advancing as they play to learn. It is a fun and easy way to introduce your child/children to computers. The Jobs of the future are sure to require knowledge of computers, so we feel COMPUTER PALACE is a valuable tool to initiate a good foundation for success with computer technology. The program creates confidence, which makes a child eager to investigate new areas of learning.

COMPUTER PALACE uses software programs designed especially for children. They are geared to group problem-solving. Everyone is involved even if it is not their turn on the computer. Our well-trained teachers emphasize each child's hands-on experience with the computer. Computer learning for pre-schoolers is innovative learning - "building blocks" for a child's future success.

COMPUTER PALACE teaches the creative aspects of computers. A fun way for a child to build individual confidence in the computer, as a PAL, who joins them on a lifetime of learning.

Computer Palace is:

  • Personalized- Individual hands-on learning of keyboard, use of cursor, mouse, touch tablet and printer.
  • Ages- 3, 4, 5 & 6-year-olds.
  • Small Classes- Six children maximum. There will be two computers with one teacher per class.
  • Affordable- $25 monthly per child paid in advance. (No refunds if child is absent.) TWO WEEK NOTICE IF LEAVING CLASS.
  • Convenient- Classes are weekly (four per month) 45-minute sessions.
  • Competent- Trained computer teachers-personable and friendly. Computer consultants.
  • Exciting- Teaching creative aspects of computers. Discovering learning is not a challenge but a joy. Software geared to group problem solving. Everyone will be involved even if it is not their turn on computer.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Instill in the child the ability to think and think critically.
  • Orient children to the keyboard and other parts of the computer.
  • Introduce students to early math skills - counting, number sequence, simple addition, and problem solving skills.
  • Build vocabulary and reading skills showing how letters are building blocks of words.
  • Creative painting and freehand drawing activities - compose and color pictures.
  • Combine Fun with solid educational experiences.
