Our teachers receive training in First Aid, Infant/Child CPR, and Infection Control. They must be registered with the Missouri State Family Care Registry, which identifies any allegations of child
abuse/neglect and also any criminal history reports. The teachers are also required by the Missouri Department of Health, Bureau of Child Care, to attend 12 hours of child care training each year. We have a proven record of having high teacher retention; many teachers have been with us for 3, 4, 5 and 6 years! Our classroom teachers have experience in child care along with several teachers having college hours or a degree in Early Childhood. They are loving, fun and will show true concern for the safety of your child as they help him/her grow into an independent, caring adult.
We have 2 teachers in every class, which will give you a sense of security knowing that four eyes, four hands, and two heads are better than one. Also, if one teacher is out for a day, there is always a person in the classroom who is familiar with the children and routine. The teachers focus on the following areas when making lesson plans: Large & Small Motor Skills, Music & Movement, Creative Arts, Science, Dramatic Play, Reading & Listening Skills, and Group Games.
